The Pan-Armenian children's and youth annual drawing competition-festival, founded in 2009 by art critic Henrik Igityan, has been an important cultural event in Armenia. In 2021, the National Center for Aesthetics, together with the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, restored the festival after the interruption caused by the pandemic and war.
Over 230 young artists from 10 countries took part: Armenia, Russia, Georgia, Ukraine, Iran, France, Argentina, the USA, Canada and Germany. The Center supported participants and educators with ten educational videos on art forms including papier-mâché, silversmithing, miniatures, paper sculpture, tapestry, linocut, mosaic, embroidery and painting.
The virtual exhibition, an innovative feature of the festival, was designed and realized by architect and 3D modeler Narek Minassian.
