ARTinclusive creates a space to exchange good practices on the inclusion of persons with disabilities through theatre and performance arts. Traditional and non-traditional theatre, including immersive and interactive forms, is used extensively in non-formal education to promote human rights. Human rights practitioners use theatre as a powerful tool, and its exercises are particularly useful for groups and communities looking to solve their problems.

The project gives youth workers a space to experience, exchange and develop new methods for local activities that include persons with disabilities through theatre and performance. It asks questions that are rarely asked, even by those who already involve young people with disabilities in their work: Can blind and partially sighted people create experiences through theatre and performance arts? How inclusive can we be in our creativity? Creative activity and self-expression can often seem off-limits to many people, and this includes the world of theatre.
