The goal is to connect the Stadtlagerhaus site with the center of Regensburg, about 1 km away. The area, once one of the biggest industrial spots, is no longer active. The analysis respects its heritage, history, structure, skyline and landscape, and treats the industrial area and its "ruins" as aesthetic elements on the site and inside the building.
In the proposal, one of the added silo boxes is split and removed. This creates a corridor connecting the northern and southern spaces, and reopens the old facade, built in 1911 and hidden since 1939.
